Islamabad announces schools’ early summer vacationsadmin
ISLAMABAD: Given the prevailing heatwave across the nation, the Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) announced summer holidays in all private and public elementary schools in Islamabad on Tuesday.
The letter said that no courses from pre-primary to class five would be held until the start of the following academic year.
The early summer vacation is intended to relax kids in elementary courses (from Montessori to grade V) during the scorching heat.
Meanwhile, the Federal Directorate of Education has altered the class V-VIII board examinations schedule.
“The examination time has been altered with immediate effect and should be observed as 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. for the remainder of the ongoing examination.” “These durations apply to both Centralized Examinations for classes V-VIII and all in-house examinations for the remaining grades,” according to the announcement.
Previously, the Balochistan government declared summer holidays for educational establishments in summer zone areas on Monday.
According to the statement, all public and private educational establishments in the summer zone regions will be closed from May 15 to July 31.
“There will be no courses for all pupils from Montessori-V beginning May 16,” the FDE stated.
